Vans Skatepark Gets Facelift

Exciting additions to the new street course include a massive 80-foot mini ramp, as well as a large viewing area for the public, both of which will be constructed out of the current Vert ramp structure. This new layout will open up an additional 3,000 square feet for the street course area and create opportunities for Vans to host special events and varied skate contests and will be completed in time for the 4th annual Pro-tec Pool Party which will be held May 17th at the park’s famed replica Combi Bowl. The reconstruction will be rolled out in phases throughout the next month with various sections slated to remain open to the public. Vans encourages those interested in skating to call the park ahead of time for updated information on course section closures.
