Villopoto wasted no time, setting the tone early by spinning the fastest lap times of the day during the timed qualifying sessions. After making his heat race look easy with a near 20-second victory over the second place rider, Ryan carried his momentum into the main event, where he would score his second-straight win of the season. After motoring by rival Josh Grant on lap number three of the race, Villopoto never looked back, taking the checkers a full 10-seconds ahead of his closest competitor. With two rounds still to go, the East Coast Lites championship is still well within his grasp, so stay tuned for an update from next weekend’s race in Detroit!
