Villopoto Wins The Minneapolis Supercross!

After once again setting the fastest lap times of the day during the timed qualifying sessions, Villopoto went on to win his heat race in convincing fashion. In the main event, RV sat in the second spot for 14 of the race’s 15 laps, stalking the leader and waiting for the perfect opportunity to make his move. With just two turns to go, Ryan made a pass for the lead, and crossed the checkers with his first win of the year. The victory moved him up two spots in the overall points standings, and thus with three races to go, he's still very much in the championship hunt!
