Vans Warped Tour Eco Initiatives For 2007

2007's initiatives have expanded over 2006 with more fan volunteers participating in the recycling program and eco contest and more tour sponsors and bands taking action to reduce their footprint by using biodiesel, recycling in their tents and tour vehicles and promoting positive actions (and the Eco Contest) to their fans.
The Tour's Eco contest involves bands, fans and sponsors. Each has the opportunity throughout the summer to make an eco change and take an eco action (many are encouraged). At the end of the tour, winners will be selected to spend an eco weekend at the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. A couple of fans, a band, and sponsor...and a little sea life. Just the ticket at the end of a Warped summer.
