Mark your calendars! The Vans BMX Am Contest brought to you by Premium will be Saturday, April 6th at Vans Skatepark in Orange, CA. The contest will be open to BMX riders in 3 Divisions: 6 - 13, 14+ and Sponsored. A complete Premium bike and giant sponsor prize pack for 1st place in each division and prizes for 2nd and 3rd places as well. Guest Judges include Connor Lodes, Pat Casey, Josh Harrington & Ronnie Napolitan.
Vans kicked off four days of non-stop music with the curtain drawing on the House of Vans at the Mohawk in Austin on Wednesday with the Vans SXSW Showcase presented by Fat Possum Records. Iggy and the Stooges, Ghostface Killah, The Specials, Japandroids, Middle Class Rut and Sky Ferreira made for a blistering mix of hip hop, ska, punk rock, indie and synth-pop.

Dan Sandoval is quickly becoming a name you associate with the top BMX park riders in the world. It's easy to forget that Dan's brakeless with all his wild combos and ramp tricks, he has his program dialed. Dan is now officially a part of the Vans BMX pro team and will be globetrotting the world this year letting loose his madness at X Games and Dew Tour. We were able to meet up with Dan for a little taste of park and dirt insanity in Southern California.

Come out to the House of Vans in Brooklyn, NY this Saturday, March 9th for a one-of-a-kind Dennis McNett event. The event entails an interactive performance orchestrated by Dennis McNett and Wolfbat Studios of The Wolfbat Tribe slaying the demons and storm surge sent by the gods through hurricane Sandy. Band performances, DJ and you never know what else can happen from 8pm-12am.
We are pleased to invite you to the grand opening of a “Shop in Shop” presented by Vans and Blends. The two have teamed up to open a one of kind in store experience in Blends San Diego, CA solely dedicated to the different lifestyles of Vans from Classics, California Collection, OTW and Vault. This special project will run through March 8th until the end of August. So, please join us Friday March 8th at Blends San Diego from 6pm-9pm. There will be an art showcase by Taka Hayashi, hosted beverages, music and much more.
The 2013 Vans Amateur Combi Pool Party took place this weekend at the Vans Skatepark at The Outlets in Orange. Over 40 amateur skaters attended, battling it out for their piece of a $10,000 prize purse. Featuring two divisions, 14 and under and 15 and over, finalists were selected for their exceptional combi pool skills, pulling off massive airs and impressive runs comparable to their professional counterparts.
