There will be Saturday clinics this month at The Block and Orlando. Orlando will host one clinic on April 21. The Block will host two clinics on April 21 and 28. Our Saturday clinics offer beginner to intermediate instruction for skateboarders. Cost is $40 for members and $50 for nonmembers. Hours are from 8am - 12pm (8am - 10am is instruction and 10am - 12pm is free skate with instructors present) Please call your local park for more information.

Austin Interviews Pennywise In Cleveland

Hey! I’m excited to bring you another great episode from the 12 years of Music, Mayhem, and More event. Today you’ll be able to see me chat with two sweet band members of Pennywise, Fletcher and Randy. We talk about the exhibit and this upcoming summer. Fletcher and Randy tell us in one word how they would sum up the Warped Tour, so be sure to tune in and find out what exactly they had to say. Plus, let us know how you would sum up your very own Warped Tour experience in one word!

Stay tuned for one last video from the Rock Hall event, featuring Bad Religion, which will be coming your way shortly. Combi Pool At The Block To Close For A Week

We will be closing the combi pool at the Block of Orange Monday, April 9th - Monday, April 16th. We have hired Rick Carje to redo the pool coping and fix loose tiles. After listening to a couple riders suggestions we are taking action to make our Pool better for this upcoming contest. Please be patient and respectful to our skatepark employees. This is a Steve Van Doren decision. He wants the best for everybody. You will be able to skate again on the 17th. Thank you for you cooperation.

Underoath will be playing 7/23 in Charlotte
Nothington will be playing 20 shows 6/28 - 7/24
Family Force 5 has dropped off the 7/27 and 8/3 dates
The Almost are playing the entire tour except Ventura, Miami and Orlando

Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands 11 and confirmed Stage Lineup Announced!

Unsigned bands looking to play on the 2007 Vans Warped Tour should head over to battle of the bands. Now in its 11th year, the annual contest has proven to be a springboard for many of today's leading artists. This year, over 200 unsigned bands will be selected by a panel of judges to play at their hometown venue.

Also, a full lineup of headlining acts have been announced to play on The Ernie Ball Stage. Performing bands include: Throwdown, It Dies Today, Valencia, MC Chris, My American Heart, The Fall of Troy, Buck-O-Nine, The Chariot, Jonezetta, Daphne Loves Derby, Lorene Drive, Monty Are I, Evaline, Social Code, The Salads, Mustard Plug, and many more. Knost Fletcher Art Show

Alex Knost and Herbie Fletcher currently have an art exhibition at the Laguna Surf Gallery through 4/27. Saturday was the opening and it proved to be a who's who in the world of logging across all generations.

Playstation Am Jam Tour at The Block!

The Woodward / Playstation Am Jam Tour will hit The Block April 14. The contest will be open to skateboard, bmx and inline ams ages 7 - 18. Registration will be held the day of the contest and the cost is $10 per rider. Winners from each 11 stops of the tour will compete in the finals for $5,000 cash! The pre-sale has begun and more bands have been announced with Killswitch Engage and Chiodos playing the entire tour, Sum 41 playing 8/14-15 and 8/23-25 and Desperation Squad playing the Pomona Show. As a refresher on the bands playing this summer, check out the full band page on warpedtour.com and if your market is not on sale yet you can still register on the Music Today site and purchase your tix once the pre-sale begins for your local show.

Vans Skate Team In Austin

AVE, Johnny, Dylan and Angel are back from Austin,Texas where the signing at the Vans store at Barton Creek Mall raised more that $7,000 for local spots to be built. Thanks to all the kids at the signing and at the demo at Mable Davis. Check out the photos of the day off and check back for the video from the trip.
