The Vans Snowboard Team was out in full force at this years Tahoe Cup. The team represented in the competiton and had some really great results! Sunday was the Holy Day of the Vans Cup, a perfect wrap to our weekend trip into the soul of snowboarding. The riders, the fans, the smiles were all a part of it. It seemed some heavenly energy forced fun upon us. Even the weather seemed to be under divine control.
Danny Kass and Elena Hight ruled the giant Superpipe at Northstar-at-Tahoe for the second straight year as the fourth edition of the Vans Cup at Tahoe wrapped up under sunny blue skies on Sunday afternoon.
The air was crisp; the riding was crisper. Vans kicked off the second competition in its three-part weekend. Slopestylers were the center of attention. Riders jumped and jibbed for more than $80,000.
