Four of the five Vans Custom Culture final event judges have been named! Timo Weiland, Christian Jacobs, Steve Caballero, Whitney Port and one surprise guest will be reviewing the students' shoes and choosing the grand prize winner at the legendary Whitney Museum of American Art on June 11th. Look out for more information coming soon and a spotlight on the final event.
Make sure to head to the Vans Skatepark on Friday, May 24th for the Girl and Chocolate demo starting at 7pm. Chocolate's newest pro, Vans team rider Elijah Berle, will be on-hand with Eric Koston, Sean Malto, Brandon Biebel and more for a demo, signing, giveaways and more.
Join legendary Vans Pro Skateboarders Ray Barbee and John Cardiel for live music, art and good times during the Vans Get Out And Do Something Tour. Ray and the Mattson 2 will be performing live, followed by John Cardiel spinning his favorite music. Greg "Pnut" Galinsky will also be in the scene sharing his artistic flavor. At each stop we will be giving away a Fender guitar and tons of other prizes from our sponsors. Come join us!
Huge congratulations goes out to our man, Gary Young who took home Gold in BMX Park at X Games Barcelona! Fellow team rider Scotty Cranmer followed right behind him claiming the Bronze medal. In skate news, Vans team rider Pedro Barros won Gold in Skate Park with teammate Curren Caples on the podium with the Silver medal. A-mazing. Nice work crew!
Meet and Greet with the band Motion City Soundtrack! The band will be heading to the Vans Store in Natick, MA on June 1st at 1pm and Merrillville, IN on June 2nd at 1pm. To attend, pick up your free wristbands at each location starting today. The band will sign autographs and meet with fans. Don't forget to catch them all summer long on the Vans Warped Tour!

The Vans BMX Team headed to Barcelona for X Games from Thursday, May 16th through Sunday May 19th. BMX Park, Street and Vert will be going down and televised on ESPN and ABC. They'll also be hitting up a Vans Store for a signing. Good luck guys!

Following three critically acclaimed seasons of skateboarding nostalgia, legendary skateboarder Jeff Grosso graces us with another series of the beloved Loveletters to Skateboarding. In the new season, Jeff pays homage to the best memories of skateboarding from its infancy to its evolution today.
This Saturday, May 18th, head to Extension Gallery at Orchard in Allston, Massachusetts for an exhibition of artwork for Antihero Skateboards by Dennis McNett. Antihero and Orchard Off Campus Housing collab project release with special guests Julien Stranger and John Cardiel. The event goes from 8pm - 11pm and is 21+.
Congratulations to Lakeridge High School, Middletown High School South, University High School, Eastern High School and Friendswood High School for successfully reaching the coveted final five in this year's Vans Custom Culture contest. Our grand prize winner will be crowned on June 11th at the world famous Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.
