Huge congratulations goes out to our man, Gary Young who took home Gold in BMX Park at X Games Barcelona! Fellow team rider Scotty Cranmer followed right behind him claiming the Bronze medal. In skate news, Vans team rider Pedro Barros won Gold in Skate Park with teammate Curren Caples on the podium with the Silver medal. A-mazing. Nice work crew!
Meet and Greet with the band Motion City Soundtrack! The band will be heading to the Vans Store in Natick, MA on June 1st at 1pm and Merrillville, IN on June 2nd at 1pm. The Vans BMX Team headed to Barcelona for X Games from Thursday, May 16th through Sunday May 19th. BMX Park, Street and Vert will be going down and televised on ESPN and ABC. They'll also be hitting up a Vans Store for a signing. Good luck guys!

In the new season, Jeff pays homage to the best memories of skateboarding from its infancy to its evolution today.
This Saturday, May 18th, head to Extension Gallery at Orchard in Allston, Massachusetts for an exhibition of artwork for Antihero Skateboards by Dennis McNett. Antihero and Orchard Off Campus Housing collab project release with special guests Julien Stranger and John Cardiel. The event goes from 8pm - 11pm and is 21+.

Our grand prize winner will be crowned on June 11th at the world famous Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.

Bucky Lasek makes a defiant comeback as the winner of the 2013 Vans Pool Party unseating defending champion Pedro Barros for his third Pro title since 2010. Bucky claimed $28,000 with former winners Pedro Barros and Rune Glifberg placing second and third after a heated Pro final featuring impressive runs by young guns Cory Juneau, Tom Scharr and Austin Poynter.
