Want to brush up on your BMX skills with Vans BMX Pros Cory Nastazio or Ryan Guettler? Vans Skateparks in Orange, CA and Orlando, FL will each be holding 2-Day Pro BMX Camps this summer.

It was Saturday night and skate sessions were cancelled at The Block to make room for the Vans BMX Invasion Am Contest. Some insane riding went down on Saturday, April 25 making things tough for guest judges Cory Nastazio, Colin Mackay and Gary Young.

Vans' newest Surf Team rider Dylan Graves is welcomed to the set of Transworld Surf's, Cote's Cube. The ASA Action Sports World Tour Big Air BMX Triples contest went down in Minneapolis this past weekend. None other than Vans BMX Team rider Ryan Guettler came back with the win followed by Vans flow rider TJ Ellis. The competition was intense and but Ryan pulled off the win with his 1080 to double tailwhip-Congrats Ryan!
The 2009 Pro-tec Pool Party is 3 weeks away... Mark your calendars now because this years event is going to be off the planet! Skaters competing include Bucky Lasek, Omar Hassan, Chris Miller, Rune Glifberg, Bob Burnquist and a ton of other legendary pool shredders. This camp is geared to intermediate to advanced skaters, and spots are very limited so sign up today at your local park.

The Vans BMX Invasion 2 Am Contest went down a few weeks ago in Orlando. With plenty of entrants, good footy was sure to take place. So what are you waiting for...? Check it and watch out for the few gnarly falls at the beginning!
Marco Zamora will be hanging out at the new Vans store at Chandler Fashion Square in Chandler, AZ on Saturday, April 25 @ 3PM. Vans MX Team rider Ryan Villopoto thrilled his hometown crowd at Qwest Field in Seattle with an electrifying win on Saturday night. Villopoto took the lead early and never looked back as he scored his first-career AMA Supercross win. Villopoto led 16 of the 20 laps in the main event in front of a very partisan crowd that was on its feet throughout the race.
If your in the Denver area be sure to check out the Jam for Van event on the 18th of May at 1:00pm. The event is taking place at a backyard bowl, so you must RSVP to attend... space will be limited.
This Sunday April 19th between 4pm and 6pm come on out to the Westminster Mall (Maryland) parking lot near Belks as the Vans motorhome will be on hand with tons of giveaways and free BBQ. They'll be having a drawing for free shoes and five sets of Vans Warped Tour tickets all to have fun and to promote skating in Westminster and to raise awareness for several upcoming events of the Matthew and Caitlin Boles Foundation

A group of the best snowboarders in the world will descend on Mammoth May 1-3, 2009 for the eighth annual West Coast Invitational. The weekend promises non-stop action with a Superpipe competition, a Rail Jam in the Village and an after party featuring Dilated Peoples.

The Combi Pool @ Vans Skatepark The Block in Orange, CA will be closed for cleaning on Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15. The rest of the course will be open regular hours. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please be aware that the grace period from 1/1/09 to 4/1/09 for updating your skatepark waiver has ended. If you have not filled out a new waiver in 2009 at either Vans Skatepark (Orange, CA & Orlando, FL), then you will be required to fill a new one out to ride on the course.
Vans Snow Team riders Andreas Wiig, Hana Beaman, Zac Marben, Scotty Arnold and Darrell Mathes will be stopping by the new Vans store at Cherry Creek Shopping Center in Denver, CO on Saturday, April 11 @ 3PM.
