The Vans Cup at NorthStar At Tahoe kicks off today with Louri Podlachikov and Jaqui Berg striving to get a piece of the $200,000 prize purse in tonight's Rail Jam, and will be webcast live from 5pm - 7.30pm PST! The first leg of my trip was down in Victoria, Phillip Island where the Roxy Pro was held at Cape Woolamai.
It was the first WQS event of the year and it was a 6 star event so it was definitely an important one to excel in.Â
The waves down there were better than they have been the last couple of years and it was held at Cape Woolamai through out the entire event, where as in the past they have had it be a mobile event do to the wave conditions.

Andreas Wiig took top honors in the slopestyle portion of this year's Honda Session in Vail, Colorado. The pyrotechnics crew blasted huge flames into the nighttime sky as Andreas and the rest of the boarders hit the last jump. Now that's extreme! Also Scotty Arnold took 2nd in the Steel and Sky Rail Jam. Congrats guys!
