This is Jonathan Owolabi's dream skate obstacle which he calls the Grindabus
Andreas Roelf's ideas was to create a kinkrail which looks like the Vans logo. Take a look.

Jermain Dudley from Baldwin Park CA designed this obstacle. According to him "It is a "Big Four" stair with a "Gap to Rail" and an innovative "Wavy Hubba Ledge!". Good luck.
Both parks will be holding a best trick contest on October 5th at 7:00pm. Orlando is going to be using the main street launch ramp and The Block is using the outdoor picnic table.
Congrats to Scotty Cranmer on the first front double tailwhip ever in competition this past weekend at the AST Dew Tour stop in Salt Lake City. Ryan Guettler took second in Park while Bucky claimed a second in skate Vert.
Vans riders Scotty Cranmer and Ryan Guettler stop the comp and take 1st and 2nd at the Dew Tour in Salt Lake City. Scotty pulled the first ever front flip tailwhip and Guettler pulled a 1080 and then a double back flip.

Vans team rider, Timmy Reyes, has announced that he will be back on the WCT for the European leg of the tour.

The evening was full of mini makeovers from the pros at MAC cosmetics, fashion presentations, raffles, gift bags and much more. The girls got to see all the latest trends for back to school fashion from Vans, sure to make their fall look complete, and start the school year off right.

She arrived from Texas for her first trip to California as a guest of Vans to spend the weekend shopping, surfing and attending Teen Vogue’s Fashion Live event in Huntington Beach, CA. The weekend Started off with a Shopping spree where Jamie picked up all the latest back to school fashion from Vans, then it was off to Teen Vogue’s Fashion live where Jamie was A VIP guest. The weekend ended with Jamie receiving a private surf lesson from Vans Team Rider Eva Lewington. It was a weekend that was full of fun and one that Jamie describes as “one of the best weekends of my life!†Be A Vans Girl has many more amazing contest coming up so keep your eyes out for a chance to win a VIP weekend With Vans!
On Friday, August 3rd Vans and Teen Vogue teamed up and hosted the ultimate fashion event at Jack’s in Huntington Beach. The night was filled with mini makeovers, fashion presentations, giveaways and much more. Teen Vogue Stylist, Vera gave fashion presentations on all the latest trends you’ll be seeing both on the runway and in the hallway. Her number-one tip for back-to-school fashion “don’t be afraid to accessorize and make an outfit your own.†Two lucky girls from the audience received a makeover from Vera and got to keep all the Vans apparel outfitting them for the upcoming back-to- school year. Tell us what your favorite back to school looks are and what you think the must have accessory is for Fall.
Vans Girls hosted a day of mixing and mingling with girls from local area retailers in Sacramento as they previewed the upcoming Spring 2008 girl’s footwear, apparel and accessories. The girls enjoyed a day of fine eats and drinks as they received manicures, pampered themselves and took home a great gift bag. The girls exclusively previewed the line and were excited for its debut. Check out the pictures from behind the scenes and let us know what you think.

Living Lines features new works of 8 diverse artists including Derek Albeck, Tomokazu Matsuyama (Matzu MTP), Marco Zamora and more. The show runs from September 8th, 2007 and ends 0ctober 6th, 2007 with the opening reception taking place at the J Flynn Gallery on September 15th from 7pm through 10pm.
