Ryan Villopoto Wins Anaheim 2 Supercross

Vans Moto athlete Ryan Villopoto takes back the premier 450 Supercross championship points lead with this weekends first place overall! RV said once he nailed the holeshot in the main event he new he had to get his first few laps perfect so he could pull away to ride a smooth raise all the way to the checkers. He is excited to be sporting the red number one plate going into this next weekends race that will be held in San Diego, CA on Feb. 11th.

Vans Hi-Standard Canada Series Kicks Off Today

Join us for the first Canadian edition of the Vans Hi-Standard Series in collaboration with Snowboard Canada tomorrow, Saturday, February 4th in Seymour North Vancouver. The event consists of an original big air format where riders are judged on individual style and no rotations over 720 are permitted; rewarding creativity and self-expression, the Vans way. It’s pretty simple, the more style and trick variety you have, the more you get paid.

After his three year absence in California, Dennis McNett brings his art show; Wolfbat Shamans and the Whale of Gratitude to Orange County for the first time. A large selection of his woodcut prints, sculptural forms, wall installations, papier mâché and masks in mythical and animalistic creations are coming to AR4T Gallery in Laguna Beach with a reception this Saturday, February 4th from 6-9pm and the show runs through March 24th.

We'll be accepting the first 1,000 registrant schools and the winners will be award $50,000 towards their art program. We're also taking the top five schools to Los Angeles for a museum show in May! With 20 seconds left of the final heat, Vans Surf Team rider John Florence had a paddle battle to catch the last wave and pulls out a 9.93 to match his already perfect 10 to take the win at the Volcom Pipe Pro down at Pipeline on Oahu. This is rad. The biggest congratulations goes out John!

Seven more bands have been added to next years Vans Warped Tour - Make Do and Mend, Mayday Parade, Sick of Sarah, Skip The Foreplay, The Green, Twin Atlantic and Vanna will be joining the already 38 bands announced. Vans Pro Circuit athletes Dean Wilson and Tyla Rattray are planning to battle it out in the 250 class for top podium spots.
