Hey guys. Let me start off by saying I've been HUGE fan of Vans and have been wearing them religiously for over 30 years now. However I recently (less than 1 month ago) purchased a pair of U SK8 Hi with all leather black exterior and canvas interior. (I should have checked that beforehand) They were a bit more expensive than the regular ones, but I thought I'd try something new this time and they looked really cool. After less than two weeks I noticed that a hole was forming in the inside of the heel. Now I have a massive hole in the heel and they are starting get really uncomfortable. I've never had a bad pair of Vans. EVER! Now after 30 years I have say I'm a bit put off by the sheer lack of time it took for these to wear out. I usually go through about a pair a year. And I've NEVER had a pair do this. If there's anything that can be done on your part to help me out, I'd sure appreciate it. You've certainly gotten plenty of my business over the years and I would very much like to continue that relationship. Please do whatever it is you can to better the shoe. The design is great, but now I'm out $65.00 shipping and a fine looking pair of SK8-Hi's.
Thanks a bunch, you guys rock!
John
