Snow: boots help, please

  • 12/23/2008 at 02:24 #1

and i forgot to mention, i tried Encore boots and i must say it is the most comfortable boot i've ever tried on my feet. unfortunately to soft :( i can only imagine Veil and Omni being even more comfortable.

P.s. i'm sorry if my english is not so great

    thanks chadhuff :)
the problem i have with Veil boot is this: it says it has support 4-5 so i'm naturally worried that would be to soft, cause these Burton Supreme i currently have has support 6 (at least that's what it says) and that's not enough support for me. i'm a former professional athlete so i have a lot of power in my legs. before Supreme i had Rossignol SKP boots, which is men's boot (support 7-8) and i killed those in less than 100 days of snow...
so my question is this: what do freeriders say about Veil or Omni? enough support?

I'm happy to here you are willing to try Vans boots, I do not know to much about womens boots but I think i can help with your questions... The woman sizes are made for a more narrow fit and i am sure you will find any of the Vans boots pleasing to your foot size. I do not feel any of the boots you mentioned would be to soft for you because we make a strong and lasting boot for both men and women... if you want me to answer your questions with more detail let me know and i will get back to you...
    enjoy !!!

    hello everyone!
i have a big problem finding the right boots. right now i have Burton Supreme boots and with only 10 days of snow they already have to much space and i cant tighten them in the lower zone. so i've given up on Burton and decided to try Vans cause the double boa sounds like a great idea cause i have small and narrow feet.
so this is my problem, i live in Croatia and i can't just walk in the store and try Veil or Omni boots cause no store has them, they only have Encore. i found one store that is wiling to import any boot i want for me so my question is this: Burton Supreme is to soft for me, i like a hard boot cause i'm a freerider, i have no interest in freestyle, so do you think that Veil is to soft for freeride?

i wear women's size 7 boots (24 centimeter to be exact), do they make Fargo or Contra boots so small? or would those be to wide for a narrow women's foot.

sorry for a bunch of quetions but i really need help with this
