St. Vincent
I've had a total band crush on St. Vincent for a while now & after getting to see them live yesterday it's only gotten worse. The live set was awesome, she had this almost ethereal quality on stage that kind of made you want to just stand and stare.
California Girls
"California girls, we're unforgettable." We saw Snoop but unfortunately missed Katy Perry who made a guest appearance during Calvin Harris' set. Day 3 girls really brought the Cali style. See more on our Flickr.
Manchester Orchestra
I don't think I know anyone who doesn't like Manchester Orchestra... probably for a lot of reasons but you can definitely add awesome live show to the list. I had never gotten to see them play before so that was fun, and the crowd was ready to respond to the bands every whim. Even with ear plugs in and shooting at face level to a wall of speakers I could still hear the crowd singing over the band.

The Growlers
The Growlers laid-back style definitely put me in chill mode while I was swayin' to their tunes. This would be perfect music for a road trip up the coast. Just gave myself a great idea. Downloading in process.

The Weeknd
The Weeknd had the crowd going crazy before he even took the stage. I wasn't really sure what to expect but the set was fun and afterwards while checking out his site I found out that he's giving away all 3 of his mixtapes. You can grab House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence all for free. That's rad.
Firehose
fIREHOSE played in one of the tents yesterday afternoon and I headed over there with Ray Barbee and some of the Vans crew, on the way to the grouunds that morning Ray had mentioned that was one of the bands he most wanted to see. Childish Gambino
Even the usually preoccupied and totally bored looking 'Guest Section' was moving during Childish Gambino's set yesterday afternoon... actually I'm pretty sure even the dude a mile out the back selling frozen lemonades out of a cart was busting some moves. Rap, dance grooves, and violins? Count us in. Pretty sure I heard half our crew singins UCLAAAAA in their sleep last night. Check out more photos from the set on our Flickr.

There was more fashion than splashing going on at yesterday's pool party thrown by A Club Called Rhonda and The Saguaro Hotel.
