Classic & Brooklyn: Dum Dum Girls
Dum Dum Girls closed last night's Classic & Brooklyn party with a rad set and excited crowd. Somehow I had missed seeing the girls play at every festival for the last millenium so it was awesome to finally catch them. They sounded and looked amazing, I can't help you out with the sound part if you blew it and missed the webcast, but here's some photos. It's almost like you were there... sort of... kind of? Brooklyn knows how to party... and make really fun customized kicks. Christian Joy was at House of Vans last night giving away tons of hand painted shoes and totes as well as some pressed tees which I am now kicking myself for not snagging. Minx nails was on hand to give the girls Vans brewed manicures that match the patterns of our Fall shoes and WIDOWSPEAK & Dum Dum Girls played super dreamy sets. I know, you're bummed you missed it.

Widowspeak has this airy yet grungy sound to them as they deliver some rad melodies accompanied by some entrancing vocals. The Brooklyn based gang will be making their way to the House of Vans this Saturday for our third Classics event in Brooklyn - a performance you'll regret if you miss it.
