We flew across the country. We got in our rental cars & a couple of 15 passenger vans with piles of surf boards on top. After two days of traveling, everyone is here ready to do the damn thang. Wildly important highlights & a bunch of photos after the jump.

Did I mention that Surf Lodge is gorgeous? I mean, really. I am ready to move in here. Essentially, this place is like if your favorite old pair of jeans was a hotel. Everything is worn perfectly.

All the competitors got new decks & trucks & wheels. The whole-shebang. it looked like Christmas morning in the Surf Lodge. They all took said whole-shebang to the Montauk skatepark. Those photos will happen later.
