        Comments about Iso:

These are advertised as a lightweight shoe, but from the descriptions and images I still didn't realize how EXTREMELY THIN the material really is. The area around the toes has the same feel as ultra-thin gym shorts. Might want to avoid wearing these when it's cold or wet out, your feet will freeze. Sizing feels a bit small - I ordered my usual size from Vans and my toes are pressed against the edges. Other than that, they feel like nothing is on your feet! Should be good for warmer weather when I don't feel like wearing sandals.

        Comments about Iso:

The ISOs are the latest release for Vans and that is reflected in the modern and minimalist style. The colors are understated and go well together, and the profile of the shoe is streamlined and appealing to the eye. Vans are known for being comfortable, practical, and stylish, and the ISOs are no different.

However, the heel rides very low. Ankle socks just barely come up to the top and will ride down over time. For the first few days, at least until they are properly broken in, my heels would come up about halfway during walking which was very uncomfortable.

The shoes must be tied quite tight to avoid this, which can be slightly painful at first as well.

Overall, the shoe would be absolutely perfect if only the heel was more reinforced and rose up another half inch to an inch. In every other way the ISOs are appealing, comfortable, and good looking.
