WHAT WE DO

Vans Retail is generally made up of 5 positions. These include Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Floor Supervisor, Stockroom Supervisor, and Sales Associate. Each of these positions are integral in keeping our stores running and to create the great atmosphere that Vans' customers expect.

The Store Manager

Manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, recruiting, training, profits, and maintaining store standards. They supervise and manage all store personnel, including implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures and corporate directives. They also maintain effective corporate office business partner relationships.

The Assistant Store Manager

In the absence of the Store Manager, manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, recruiting, training, profits, and maintaining store standards. They supervise and manage all store personnel, including implementing and enforcing all company policies, procedures and directives are being followed.

The Floor Supervisor

In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, manages the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service and maintaining store standards. They supervise all part time store personnel and ensure that all company policies, procedures and directives are being followed.

The Stockroom Supervisor

Works closely with the store manager and all members of the management team to ensure day- to -day operations of the stockroom, including the process of shipment within 24 hours, maintaining an organized stockroom, the flow of merchandise to the floor, and the enforcement of company policies and corporate directives.

The Sales Associate

Provides exceptional customer service and actively sells to the customer while following through on store operational tasks. They maintain good visual displays and a neat, clean, and well presented store. And most importantly they represent the Vans brand in a positive way for all Vans customers.
