Internship Program Summary As a Vans Intern, you will be offered the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional work environment that is deeply rooted in an authentic heritage. You will acquire new skills that will prepare you for your future career, while networking with peers and professionals. We are dedicated to providing you with a meaningful experience through challenging assignments that are relevant to your field of study. This is a 10 week program from June 24 – August 23, 2013. You will be paid an hourly rate and will be expected to work 32 hours per week. Most importantly, an exciting and challenging summer is mandatory!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You are responsible for completing specific projects assigned by your manager
- You will present your final project to your peers and senior leadership upon the completion of the program
- Collaborate with your peers on assignments provided by Human Resources
Education/Experience:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 0-1 yr.
Must be a current Junior, Senior or MBA student and actively enrolled full-time in an accredited educational institution or college

Must be working towards a relevant degree in Business

Must have legal authorization to work in the US Age Requirement: 18+ years of age.

Skills:
Advanced computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills including the ability to problem solve and interpret
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all levels
Follow through with all tasks and assignments in a timely manner
Attention to detail

Special Requirements:
Less than 5% travel may be required
Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weight
from 1 to 50lbs, depending on need
