Inspired by vintage athletic shoe styling, the vibrant Running Red aesthetic presents a combination of premium suede and lightweight nylon uppers stacked atop outsoles which utilize waffle tread traction as a tie back to Vans heritage. Ever wondered what fireworks would look like in reverse? Filmmaker Julian Tay used footage of the 2012 New Years fireworks at Docklands in Melbourne, Australia and digitally reversed it. The result is brilliant. Peep the video above and happy new year everybody.
UK based artist Simon Beck uses a pair of snow shoes to create these amazing patterns on the snow. Every year he picks a different location this one is at Les Arcs ski resort in France. Each of the patterns could take up two days of "snow trampling" to complete. Peep more photos beyond the fold.

The Military pack integrates militant style into the design of eight OTW silhouettes. The entire capsule dressed each make in combination of aged leather, suede and washed canvas in an aesthetic similar to that of combat footwear in addition to antiqued eyelets and camouflage lining details.
