USB Project

Technology and art is a recurring theme we like to discuss here at OTW. Artist Aram Bartholl has begun his "Dead Drops" project during his EYEBEAM residency in New York. Aram's project involves placing 5 random USB drives around buildings and curbs which are accessible to anyone. For those who have a chance to find these USBs, they are encouraged to plug in their computers and download and in turn add your own files to the drive. Each drive contains a readme.txt file which explains the purpose of the project. It will be interesting to witness how this project transpires.
