RedBud has served as an Independence Day tradition for the AMA Pro Motocross Championship for many years and on Saturday, the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki squad celebrated the holiday against fierce competition at the legendary facility. After a late crash in practice took 450 Class competitor Tyla Rattray out of action for the afternoon, the remaining contingent of 250 Class riders fought their way to top 20 results.

Vans Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Dean Wilson will miss the remainder of the 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship after an MRI last week reveled has a torn labrum in his right shoulder. Wilson tore his labrum in the same shoulder that caused him to miss last year's Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship during a practice crash last week. "This is such a bummer,” Wilson said in a statement released by the team. “It’s the same shoulder I had
