The Vans Moto Crew has been hard at work all week with testing a preparing for the first Motocross race which will be held next weekend in Sacramento, Ca at the Hangtown Motocross Park. Hangtown will mark the kick off round of the 12 race AMA Lucas Oil Champuionship Series!
Monster Energy Kawasaki enters the 2012 AMA Pro Motocross Championship as the reigning championship team. Vans Moto Athlete Jake Weimer was fast all day and was able to put together a solid fourth place result, finishing out the season fifth in the point standings. Vans Monster Energy Pro Cicuit's Broc Tickle rode a great heat race, but had to make up time after a tough start in the main to finish 11th.It was an action packed day for the Lites riders, having to ride a 15-lap main event and then a 10-lap East/West Shootout.
This weekend marks the last round of the AMA/FIM Monster Energy Supercross Championship's. Although Vans Moto Super Athlete Ryan Villopoto wrapped up the title early there is still bar banging racing going on in both the premier 450 class with Vans Athlete's Jake Weimer and Broc Tickle!
